The Lakeville High School Gay-Straight Alliance started this year at Lakeville High School. Its purpose is to provide a safe environment for Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual, and Transgendered students as well as students who support them. It will also plan events related to fair treatment, diversity, and creating a more Gay friendly environment at Lakeville High School. It will take a stand against inequality and injustice, and show both Lakeville High School and the Lakeville community that GLBTs should be recognized and respected.
